The process will follow the following steps:

  1. Pre-selection and review with client

Optionally: Help to create business case studies

  1. Contact and planning
  2. Visit preparation: focus, modalities (meeting / interviews / plenary sessions / site visits etc...), agenda
  3. Visit coordination on-site
  4. Visit consolidation (optional)

Modalities: To make the experience rich, enriching and engaging, OIA suggests to follow a variety of sessions and encounters:

  • Participants Internal Group discussion: participants are encouraged to discuss and review the interest and opportunities lying in meeting up specific organisations and their leaders, managers or employees. Besides aligning students/participants to the purpose of their visit, it also helps them share about their interest, or their doubts, therefore bringing up their engagement and commitment to a succesful journey
  • Plenary discussion: meeting with business leaders or motivational speakers
  • Field visits: visiting factories, offices etc... in order to help the participants connect with the ground reality. This is also an opportunity for them to report on what they see and what they understand, therefore developping their critical thinking.
  • Interviews: A great way to deepen your understanding while engaging in meaningful conversations
  • Networking event: either during high tea or dinner or lunch, this is the opportunity to network and discuss informally
  • Review sessions: As powerful as any internal group discussion, the focus is to ensure everyone is involved and no one left behind. Also information is shared and consolidated so that the greatest number of participants benefit. It also provides for unvaluable feedback opportunities and allow any misconception to surface and be clarified.
